Description
DNase I a recombinant endonuclease that non- specifically catalyzes the degradation of both single- and double stranded DNA and DNA-RNA hybrids, producing 5′ phosphate and 3′-hydroxyl termini-containing oligonucleotides of varying lengths. The protease activity of DNase I endonuclease has been eliminated; therefore, this enzyme is stable at its optimal (neutral) pH range and is suitable for RNA preparation at neutral pH.
