Lambda Exonuclease is a highly processive 5′-3″ exodeoxyribo nuclease. It selectively digests the 5′ phosphorylated strand of double-stranded DNA. The enzyme exhibits low activity on single-stranded DNA and non-phosphorylated DNA.
