Description
IgY antibody subtype is the most abundant of serum immunoglobulin’s of the immune system in birds and is analogous to IgG found in mammals. Chickens generate a comparatively enhanced antibody response to mammalian antigenic proteins. These immunoglobulin’s do not bind to Fc receptors present in mammals. Rabbit Anti-Chicken IgY Serum is a polyclonal antibody, which is generated by immunizing the rabbits using chicken IgY whole molecule as an immunogen. Anti-Chicken IgY specifically detects chicken IgY and no other immunoglobulin’s are detected. This anti-chicken antibodies are useful analytical tools for various research applications. Rabbit anti-chicken IgY is conjugated to HRP by protein cross-linking technologies. Rabbit Anti-chicken IgY (whole molecule)-Peroxidase antibody specifically binds to chicken IgY.
